Take your head between your hands and scream!
I read this simplistic model about how globalization works for good. Mr. A your turn..
Globalization has many pros, but losses of jobs will always be an issue when overvalued economies can invest the same amount of money and earn much more exploiting devalued economies and their international workers. Is there a way to protect Mr A, God knows who will buy Mr B products if no one takes care of protecting Mr A.
Argentina was granted with politicians who never took good care of Mr. A. Today millions walk each day asking for jobs, why? because governments put higher priorities to higher gains no matter the consequences. Who is the economy for? Well the economy is not the instrument to make a few full their bank accounts, it's the instrument to feed a nation.
So numbers look nice, but take it from not an economic student but a young person who lived in an over valuated economy half her age, globalization is a double knife, and politicians are just kids playing with it.
8/13/05 - It's probably not a great idea not to go to your medical appoitment when you get the best job they could have probably offered you, just because you want to mantein that perfect record of never taking a blood test.
